Kenny Wong


is a Lecturer in the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture at the University of Arizona. He is also Co-Director of the Arizona Research Center for Housing Equity & Sustainability (ARCHES) and Coordinator for the Housing Equity Lab (HousEQ) of the Drachman Institute. Previously he was Assistant Director of Design Research at cityLAB UCLA.

He holds a Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from UCLA.

The Botanical Gardens of Sawtelle





The Botanical Gardens of Sawtelle was completed in collaboration with Sara Bond (UCLA Library and Information Science), Clarissa Brunt-Pluta (UCLA Architecture and Urban Design), Andrés Carrasquillo (UCLA Urban Planning), and Ariel Hernandez (UCLA Gender Studies).

Project generously supported by the UCLA Urban Humanities Initiative, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and Institute on Inequality and Democracy at UCLA Luskin.

The Botanical Gardens of Sawtelle is collected in Powell Library at UCLA (ZINE 337) and the West Los Angeles Regional, John C. Fremont, and Edendale Branches of the Los Angeles Public Library (ZINE).
